How Voice Recordings works:

THE 7-STEP PROCESS

To receive an accurate quote, there are a few details required, as certain genres of voiceover are charged differently to others i.e., Real Estate walk through vs commercial broadcast. Linda Dean Voices would need to know a little about the project, your thoughts on what you are looking for and a sample script. From there a sample recording will be submitted along with rates for your approval. Please see below for information required and where you can contact Linda Dean Voices.

Step One: Requirements

  • Decide on the script / story you would like your project to use. How long the piece will be (30 seconds / 60 seconds etc.) and how many words.
  • What type of genre (production) is it i.e., Commercial, Narrative, IVR, E-Learning, Real Estate, Character etc.
  • Who or what is being communicated / advertised and where
  • How long do you intend to use the piece i.e., 6 weeks, 6 months, 1 year, perpetuity etc.
  • Any special requirements, such as live directed or if you require editing

Step Two: Get A Quote

Once you have decided on the above, fill in the get a quote form along with a sample script and your thoughts on how you would like it to sound i.e., Happy, caring, warm etc.

Step Three: Rates & Voice Sampling

Open your email from Linda Dean Voices to view rates, listen to the sample and confirm your approval to go ahead.

Step Four: Recording

Once approval and full script received, Linda will record the script, edit (if required) and send through a high-quality WAV and MP3 file.

Step Five: Invoice Sending

Along with WAV/MP3 file, an invoice will be sent through for 7day payment terms with bank transfer being the favored method of payment.

Step Six: Enjoy The Recording!
